THE STORY

Longtime collectors of my work know that I typically avoid including anything man made within my captures. I’m far more interested in sharing the stories of what God has made, not man.

However, this scene was of particular interest to me. Navigating the mangroves of Florida’s Atlantic coast, I saw an osprey land on this sign. I began thinking about the sign, and however noble its intentions may have been, the sign is gradually being defeated by the very creation it is intended to help protect.

Bolts are rusted and coming loose. Assumedly expensive reflective panels are peeling away. And this osprey seems to symbolize nature claiming dominion over anything man can make.

DISPLAY DETAILS

Museum Mount (Wooden Edge) will feature a slim .2” wooden frame with a depth of 1.37".

Passe-Partout will feature a 1.6” wooden frame, and a 3.5” acid-free museum card on all sides of the capture.

Prints and giclées will typically ship within two weeks.

All other pieces will require two to three weeks for craftsmanship prior to shipping.

The Print

Your capture will feature the highest possible level of quality and detail. Please understand that it is not possible to portray this quality on your device's monitor. We invite you to join our gallery to witness this extraordinary level of detail firsthand.

Our recommendation is to select matte finishes as opposed to gloss. Matte finishes help to diffuse light and reduce or eliminate reflections, ensuring that your capture's beauty isn't lost or difficult to appreciate.

Artistic Mounts

Wrapped canvas is a popular option thanks to its simplicity and "wrap around" appearance on all sides. Your canvas will be meticulously printed and hand-stretched over a custom-made wooden frame.

For a more modern appearance, consider the "Museum Mount" option. Your capture will be printed and then mounted to a thin block of solid aluminum (strength for mounting, but lightweight and easy to handle) before being laminated with either a matte (recommended) or gloss finish.

For the best of both worlds, upgrade your Museum Mount selection to the Wooden Edge enhancement. This offers a .2" wide thin wood frame with a depth of 1.37"

Framing

Your capture's frame will be crafted to order using sustainably sourced solid wood.

The Passe-Partout selection is ideal for the most discerning collectors. Enjoy a museum-quality glass (not acrylic) with anti-reflective properties that ensures accurate and vivid presentation of your capture's details and colors. This glass also blocks ultraviolet rays, protecting the integrity of the print for a lifetime and beyond.
