Special Christmas Showing: The Ritz-Carlton Orlando

Living in Florida’s Panhandle region, I don’t get to visit with and see my friends and collectors in the southern part of the state as much as I would like. This makes an upcoming event in the Orlando area even more anticipated and special.

I’m excited to share that The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes has invited me to show my work on select nights during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s:

• December 20: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• December 21: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• December 27: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• December 28: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• December 31: 7:00pm - Midnight

The Grande Lakes resort encompasses Orlando’s only Ritz-Carlton hotel, as well as the neighboring JW Marriott hotel, and my goodness: are they going all out for the Christmas season!

On the aforementioned nights, guests of these two properties, as well as locals and non-guests, are invited to a special “Winter Wonderland” event complete with music, special food and drink offerings, shopping, surprises, and yours truly—all presented in a festive fashion that won’t soon be forgotten.

Selecting pieces for a showing is not an easy task, and this particular event has been especially challenging, as I anticipate guests from not just across the United States, but from around the world. I’ve done my best to curate pieces that represent all of my collections.

I’m being provided a “winter chalet,” and it will be filled with as many pieces as I can comfortably display, as well as my coffee table book Exploring Creation: Birds of Florida. 

I welcome each and every one of you to come visit us and to see my art in person. I’m very proud of the print quality and craftsmanship of my pieces and their handmade wooden frames, and trust me when I say that viewing them online is a poor substitute for seeing them in person.
